Shipping policy

Thank you for choosing CONNSON. We specialize in global B2B supply of industrial electrical components. To accommodate diverse logistics preferences and project requirements, we support shipments under Incoterms® 2020 rules, including EXW, FOB, C&F (CFR), CIF, DPU, and DDP.

1. Supported Trade Terms (Incoterms® 2020)

• EXW (Ex Works)

  • Seller Responsibility: Goods packaged and made available for pickup at our facility/warehouse.
  • Buyer Responsibility: All logistics, export/import clearance, customs duties, insurance, and transit costs from our warehouse to the final destination.
  • Freight Forwarder: The buyer or buyer’s assigned freight forwarder coordinates collection.

• FOB (Free on Board)

  • Designated Port: Ningbo / Shanghai / Shenzhen (or agreed designated port in China).
  • Seller Responsibility: Inland transportation to the loading port and export customs clearance.
  • Buyer Responsibility: Main carriage (ocean/air freight), cargo insurance, import customs clearance, destination port charges, and final delivery.

• C&F / CFR (Cost and Freight)

  • Seller Responsibility: Export clearance and main carriage freight to the designated destination port/airport.
  • Buyer Responsibility: Marine/cargo insurance, destination import customs clearance, import tariffs, port handling fees, and inland transportation to the final destination. Risk transfers upon loading onto the vessel/carrier.

• CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight)

  • Seller Responsibility: Export clearance, main carriage freight to the destination port, and baseline marine cargo insurance (minimum cover under Institute Cargo Clauses C or agreed terms).
  • Buyer Responsibility: Import customs clearance, duties, import taxes (e.g., VAT/GST), and destination inland transport.

• DPU (Delivered at Place Unloaded)

  • Seller Responsibility: Export clearance, international transit, delivery to the named destination place, and unloading from the arriving conveyance.
  • Buyer Responsibility: Import customs clearance, import duties, and taxes in the destination country.

• DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)

  • Seller Responsibility: Full door-to-door delivery, including export clearance, international freight, import clearance, import duties, and local delivery to the buyer's designated address.
  • Buyer Responsibility: Offloading cargo upon arrival at destination facility (unless otherwise agreed).

2. Order Processing & Lead Times

  • Standard Catalog Items: In-stock components typically dispatch within 1–3 business days after order confirmation and payment clearance.
  • Bulk & Custom Orders: Lead times vary depending on quantity, component availability, and manufacturing requirements. An estimated delivery schedule will be provided with your official proforma invoice (PI).

3. Customs, Duties & Taxes

  • Unless an order is explicitly confirmed under DDP terms, all import duties, taxes, VAT, and customs broker clearance charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
  • Custom documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading / Air Waybill) will be provided accurately to facilitate smooth customs clearance.

4. Inspection, Damage & Claims

  • Cargo Inspection: Please inspect all packages immediately upon receipt. Any external damage or tampering must be noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt before signing.
  • Shortage or Discrepancy: Any discrepancies or damaged goods must be reported to us in writing within 7 calendar days of delivery, accompanied by clear photos/videos of the package, shipping label, and affected components.
  • Risk Transfer: Risk of loss or damage transfers according to the applicable Incoterm agreed upon in your purchase agreement.
